I cant recommend Dr. Amundsen enough. My mom had vision loss in 2008 in one eye. In 2019 it started getting worse. She went to every specialist she could find in both Ventura and LA county. No one could explain why her vision was suddenly worsening by the day. She went to see Dr. Amundsen about two weeks ago as a new patient for eye glasses. He ran some extra tests because of her vision loss, and told her that he was worried she had a specific diagnosis that her primary dr would need to do an MRI or Ultrasound to diagnose for sure. Her Dr ran the tests and Dr. Amundsen was right! She is currently at the hospital getting treatment, that she should have gotten in 2019 or at any other point after seeing all of the ophthalmologist "specialists". She won't get back the vision she's lost since 2019, but they may be able to stop it from getting worse, thanks to the thoroughness and care of Dr. Amundsen. We will forever be grateful to him.

I came to Dr. Amundsen to treat my Keratoconus. He fitted me with Scleral contact lenses. He spends all the time needed to get the correct fit on the lenses. Sometimes it has taken ordering multiple lenses to get the fit perfect. Can't say enough great things about Dr. Amundsen & the staff!

I recently visited Dr. Dean Admunsen’s office for an eye exam, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff was friendly, efficient, and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Dr. Kull was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain my son and daughter's eye health and prescription options clearly. The office was clean, modern, and well-organized. I highly recommend for anyone in need of optometry services—great patient care all around!

Since the other eye doctor moved into the practice I thought I'd post here too. I felt interrogated for my reason for being there. And why should they care if I have a job it was already in my paperwork. That made me feel very uncomfortable. Doctor said I had a dot that required watching with no follow up appointments. I found out he no longer takes MediCal when I called his new office without any notice from him.

The customer service was outstanding and I was pleased with the service received at this office. I was completely impressed with Doctor & staff professionalism. The ambiance here is very inviting, friendly and highly skilled. First time taking my 4 y/o daughter for vision test and she was having such a great time. Highly recommend this office specially for kids. Changing my entire family to this office.

Thank You for taking such good care of my eye needs. Friendly staff and thorough eye exam. Modern technology with a clean and welcoming environment. As a walk in I lucked up and was able to be seen on the same day, which was rare because they are a top notch high quality office. I will recommend Dr. Amundsen to anyone for eye care.

Dr. Amundsen is one of the best doctors I have been to. He continues to impress me with his thoroughness and follow through. He and his office staff amaze me year after year with the constant support and attention to keeping my eyes as healthy as possible.The attention to detail and profession service is a constant. My eye wear with the blended lenses is fit correctly to my vision each time. I would highly recommend him and his staff to all.

I have been a patient of Dr. Amundsen for at least 20 years, during which time I have always been pleased by the professional manner of the doctor and all staff. My entire family now sees Dr. Amundsen, even my daughter who now lives out of state! He is thorough, knowledgeable, and takes as much time as is needed to care properly for his patients. I would recommend him highly!
